As weather gets cooler and summer turns to fall, I tend to lean toward moody deep colors. This time around I wanted a red, but not just any red, a mean, smoked red with some grit. Meet "Not 'Yo Mama's Drama," a gorgeous luminescent kettle dyed yarn that needs to be part of your next project! I dyed it on superwash merino and nylon, so it's super soft and super strong. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of hand painted yarns, each is an individual piece, and no two will match perfectly. There will be variations in tones, which adds to the unique allure of indie dyed yarns.
Looking to pair this with another Djfleesh Fiberworks yarn? Try it with Tycho's Supernova (pictured in the last 2 pictures), which you can find here:http://ow.ly/TGQ430m851Z

I dyed this yarn with colorfast acid dyes, and although I really tried to show colors accurately, please note that they may vary slightly when viewed on different devices. All of my yarns have been thoroughly rinsed, and the colors do not run, however, due to differing chemical makeup and PH of water from one location to another, it is recommended that you wash your garment with like colors for the first couple of washes.
