I love hitting the beach after a storm, and the wet sand dunes inspired this nice solid deep smoky taupe. If I close my eyes, I can almost feel the damp sand between my toes. This would be great on it's own, or as background with a bright complementary variegated yarn. This one is dyed on my go-to base, a fab superwash merino and nylon, so it is wonderfully soft and super strong. Kettle dyed yarns rock, and this one is no exception.
Weight: Sock/Fingering Base: DJ Prime Base Fiber Content: 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon Yardage: 463yd (422m)/100g
Care: For best results, hand wash gently in cold water and dry flat, or machine wash gently cold, tumble dry low.
Colorway: Post Storm Dunes
I dyed this yarn with colorfast acid dyes, and although I really tried to show colors accurately, please note that they may vary slightly when viewed on different devices. All of my yarns have been thoroughly rinsed, and the colors do not run, however, due to differing chemical makeup and PH of water from one location to another, it is recommended that you wash your garment with like colors for the first couple of washes.
