Occasionally I head into the my Dye Shack and just let my imagination head to my childhood. One of my favorite books as a kid was Dr. Seuss' Go Dog Go, which I loved because of the simple colors used. Here is my take on my memories, a nice light work with splashes of blues, yellows, plums, browns and more! Grab this one up and get to work on something fabulous. I picture this as a nice lightweight shawl, as part of a larger wrap, or a groovy pair of socks!
dyed on my DJ Cash Money base, an incredibly soft fingering weight blend of merino, cashmere and nylon. This will work up perfectly (and elegantly) into your next fine gauge hat, scarf or shawl. As this is a kettle dyed colorway, please note that there will be variations in tones, which adds to the unique allure of indie dyed yarns.
Care: For best results, hand wash gently in cold water and dry flat, or machine wash gently cold, tumble dry low.
Colorway: Red Fall Road
I dyed this yarn with colorfast acid dyes, and although I really tried to show colors accurately, please note that they may vary slightly when viewed on different devices. All of my yarns have been thoroughly rinsed, and the colors do not run, however, due to differing chemical makeup and PH of water from one location to another, it is recommended that you wash your garment with like colors for the first couple of washes.
